Here's what you'll do day-to-day
Running infrastructure and security projects inside an operational business
where the technology serves assets in the field. Deadlines are often set by
outage windows and regulators rather than by the project board.
- Run delivery across several concurrent technical workstreams
- Translate between engineering teams and a business that does not speak their language
- Manage vendors properly, including the uncomfortable conversations
- Keep risk and dependency tracking honest rather than green
This is not a role where you can coordinate without understanding. You will be
challenged on technical detail by people who know it well, and you need enough
depth to hold your own.
Requirements
We are looking for someone technical enough to be useful and commercial enough
to be trusted with a vendor.
- Track record delivering infrastructure, cloud or security projects end to end
- Technical background, or enough depth to challenge an estimate credibly
- Vendor and contract management experience
- Comfortable in an operational environment with change control that matters
- Perth based, with some site travel
- Australian work rights, ABN preferred
